About this machine
What it is and what it is good for.
Two cast iron angle tables, sold separately. The larger one has a working surface of 3 000 × 2 000 mm and weighs 9 tonnes, at € 5 000. The smaller one is 2 000 × 2 000 mm, weighs 6 tonnes, at € 3 000.
An angle table is what lets you clamp a workpiece vertically against a horizontal boring mill or a plano miller — the face is machined square to the base, so a part bolted to it is held at a true right angle without shimming and checking.
Both faces carry T-slots and a pattern of bolt holes, and both are heavily ribbed on the back. This is the kind of tooling that is rarely offered second hand and expensive to have cast and machined new.
