About this machine
What it is and what it is good for.
Cast iron floor plates of 6 000 × 2 000 mm, 400 mm thick, with machined T-slots running the full length and bolt holes between them. This is a type we keep in stock — contact us for current availability.
Laid side by side they make a large flat working area — a floor for a boring mill, a welding and assembly bay, or a measuring and setting-out surface for large fabrications. Each plate is ribbed underneath, which is what keeps a casting of this size flat.
Plates like these are almost never offered used, and new ones are cast to order at a price and a lead time most buyers do not expect. They can be taken separately or as a set.
