About this machine
What it is and what it is good for.
Centre lathe of the Romanian SNA series. Turning Ø 710 mm over the bed guides, 2 000 mm between centres, with the centre line 342 mm above the guides.
The headstock offers 23 spindle speeds from 8 to 1 250 rpm, or 10 to 1 600 rpm depending on execution, driven by an 18.5 or 22 kW motor. Bar work up to Ø 80 or 102 mm passes through the spindle. It carries 2 500 kg between centres, 3 000 kg with a steady rest and 800 kg on the face plate. Machine weight 4 900 kg.
